This site features my garden railway the Pine Valley Estate Railway which is built in the scale of 1:13.7 or 7/8ths of an inch to the foot. The trains run on 45mm track representing a 2 foot gauge railway. The line is fictional and is a colonial railway that takes elements from New Zealand bush tramways, Australian cane railways and anything that takes my fancy.
In the small scale division my sons and I are building an HO scale layout representing New Zealand Railways.
The blog will also cover various interests including model railway projects, railway signalling equipment and electronics.
